A Year in the Life of a Mayor

Welcome to a blog that will attempt to chronicle a year in the life of a Mayor of a London borough. We have kindly received co-operation from the Mayor of Harrow, Cllr Asad Omar, who will allow us access to some of the civic duties he is required to carry out in order for us to log the year ahead.

Tonight on May 25 2010 is the official Mayor-making ceremony which declares the new mayor and begins his term.
